When we updated the Backcountry Series for modern mountain bikes with their longer, lower, slacker geometry, one of the greatest challenges we faced was creating space inside dual suspension frames. With extremely limited space around shocks and water bottles, sometimes you just need an extremely small frame bag.

The Backcountry Frame Pack is a versatile, waterproof and reversible bag for carrying tools, spares and supplies on mountain bikes with limited internal frame space.

The compact frame bag is designed for compact frame geometries, with a reversible fit to suit both steep and slack angles. It’s particularly suitable as a full suspension frame pack, creating usable storage space that doesn’t interfere with shocks. With an optional cable port at either end, it’s a convenient way to store light battery packs for Enduro races, creating easy access to tools for daily rides or snacks for longer sessions.

Inside, the mountain bike frame bag features an internal lash tab for securing contents and reducing rattle alongside an interior pocket for valuables. A reinforced structure ensures a stable fit, no matter what shape your mountain bike frame is.

Materials

The Backcountry Frame Pack is made from our proprietary 420D nylon, a rugged fabric made to our own exacting specifications for durability and waterproofing. Designed to fit the demands of off-road riding, this material offers full waterproofing, light weight, low stretch, and high abrasion and tear resistance. Notably, it’s welded together at the seams, creating a watertight seal that ensures the frame pack remains completely waterproof.

Care Instructions

Wash the Frame Pack by hand, using a mild diluted soap if necessary. Afterwards, let it air dry.

Do not machine wash, machine dry, or iron.

Due to international policy, all bikes purchased online must be shipped to an approved bike store for professional assembly by a qualified bike mechanic—they cannot be delivered directly to your address.
